Creative cycle
The proposed curriculum provides, along with teaching the basics of visual literacy in academic disciplines (drawing, painting, composition, sculpture), conducting classes in applied types with the performance of work in the material, the purpose of which is to familiarize students not only with easel, but also with decorative and applied art, its national traditions.

Views of educational work are carried out at the end of the 1st half of the year (half-year viewing) and at the end of the academic year (annual viewing) at all levels of education.

The accumulation of knowledge and skills in the basics of the fine arts is consolidated during the plein air - an annual summer industrial practice, which gives students the opportunity not only to capture the nature of their native land in artistic images, but also to get acquainted with the beautiful nature and ancient architecture of other regions of Kazakhstan. Summer practice is carried out in the form of open air (outdoor activities), taking into account local conditions. In the open air, students complete drawing and painting assignments.
Drawing

The task of this discipline is to teach students to see, understand, depict a three-dimensional form on a two-dimensional plane, through the transfer of volume, proportions, texture, position in space, using various graphic means: line, spot, tone, chiaroscuro.

The basis of training is drawing from nature using the laws of constructing form, linear, perspective, illumination. Work from nature should be combined with work from representation and from memory, practicing such tasks in class and as homework.

Throughout the training, work should be carried out according to the principle of gradual complication of tasks, therefore, training includes at the beginning drawing simple geometric objects, simple still lifes, then more complex productions, plaster reliefs, interiors, casts of plaster heads, as well as living nature.
Painting

The task of painting is to develop in students the ability to see and depict nature in all the richness of its color relations, using pictorial means. Students should: learn to "sculpt" a form with color in all the variety of its changes in a light-air environment, master the basics of techniques of painting with watercolors and gouache.

The curriculum for painting, as well as for drawing, provides for the alternation of long performances and short sketches. Training provides for adherence to the principle of increasing the complexity of tasks from year to year.
Сomposition

This item has the closest connection with all other items.
The task of the discipline is to teach children to correctly use the laws of composition and to translate their ideas into specific artistic forms and images.
Sculpture

It belongs to the plastic arts.

The task of this discipline is the development of spatial thinking, i.e. three-dimensional perception of volumetric form, the ability to convey volume and space by means of plastic, the study of the laws of plastic and techniques for working with clay, plasticine and other materials.

Through a series of assignments from simple to complex, students become familiar with the basics of both relief and round sculpture.
